I Did It!!

Hey Guys, I'm so excited! I finally have a working website, with "working" being the key word. I'm working hard at photographing my art. I'm working hard at uploading those images onto my new website birdonawhim.com and I'm working hard on New Art too!

These days one must have a digital presence, and not just on the social media sites if one wishes to sell one's art. I began posting and selling my Art in 2017 on Instagram, meeting new people Other Artists, Collectors and Curators. All was going pretty well until Facebook bought Instagram.

Not only I, but a lot of Artists on Instagram noticed a change in our beloved Artist's Community activity.

The algorythm was set up to make more money for Facebook while making it more difficult for the emerging artists, without a budget for advertising, to be seen. It was time to create the website I had gone so far as to get an associates degree in Web Design for.

In 2015 I graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College with highest honors, I began creating a site for BiRd On A WhiM, the blanket name I had been calling all my Creations for several years.

Time after time I began new a website, while trying to keep up with the rapidly changing advancements in the field. I finally admitted that I was never going to get it done without some help, enter Daniel Smith at DreamDigitalImagesLLC, a subcontractor at WIX.

After some time working (there's that word again) together Daniel was able to create a site that I could manage. One where he would always be available for if I had any questions. Today I have begun working to add more art for you guys to see.
